Requirements & Vaccinations

At Woof City Pet Villa of Frisco, the safety and well-being of every dog is our top priority. To ensure a healthy environment for all pets, the following requirements must be met before boarding, daycare, or grooming services.

Required Vaccinations

All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations before boarding, daycare, or grooming. If your dog has been newly vaccinated, please review the timing requirements below.

Core Vaccines (Required)

Rabies – Required by law
Distemper / Parvo (DHPP)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) – Must be updated every 6–12 months, depending on your veterinarian’s recommendation

When Vaccines Must Be Completed

To ensure your dog is fully protected, vaccines must be completed and effective at least 7 days before boarding. For newly vaccinated dogs, please allow:

Rabies: 7 days
DHPP: 7–14 days
Bordetella:
- Intranasal/oral: takes effect in 72 hours, but 7 days required if this is a new vaccine
- Injectable: 7 days

Submitting Records

Vaccination records may be uploaded directly into your pet’s online profile or emailed to us before your appointment. Pets without complete and up-to-date records cannot be admitted.

Health Requirements

To provide a safe environment, all dogs must be:

Free of fleas, ticks, and external parasites
Free of contagious illnesses (coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, skin infections)
Able to walk and move without pain
Not aggressive toward people or other dogs

If your pet shows signs of illness upon arrival, we may need to reschedule your appointment or boarding stay.

Medication Disclosure

If your dog takes any medication or supplements:

Please bring them in their original labeled containers
Provide clear written instructions
We will administer medications as directed (no injections)

Special Needs & Senior Dogs

We gladly care for senior or special-needs pets, but please inform us about:

Mobility issues
Allergies
Anxiety
Dietary restrictions
Medical conditions
